  1. This is all mind numbing, as you say. I’m glad you are doing all of this work. It’s amazing!

Traci told me you are in communication. YES!!!

    Here’s to finding the truth.

Your distant cousin, Penny Field Fischer
Daughter of Alta Marion Anderson Field
    Granddaughter of Albert Abner Anderson
    G-granddaughter of Mose Brock Anderson
    ETC

    • Hello cousin…
While Traci and I are having fun, there is some serious genealogy going on… I can post theories all day but they have to be challenged and tested. Her challenges force me to sharpen my points. Concerning our Anderson line all this Pitman stuff will end up being a mere footnote. For us this could potentially lead to the generation before William Anderson d.1789. I do not realistically think there are any AHA! records offering a proof to his parents for the simple reason that all the Northampton records that are needed were burned in courthouse fires.
I “know” which Joseph Pitman signed the will of William Anderson… I just can’t prove it yet.

But I am realistic enough to know I have constructed a house of cards that can collapse… the odds of “proving” an “affair” that happened in late 1720s that produced an illegitimate son is daunting.
