I just found this site and was at once struck with the fact that they don’t seem to play games with the facts.

This is from the entry for William Byrd II:

“Early in 1676, his trade was cut off after Indian attacks, and he helped to persuade his partner, Nathaniel Bacon, to take unlawful command of a militia and lead it against the Indians. Bacon’s Rebellion resulted, but Byrd switched his loyalties to Governor Sir William Berkeley, opening the way for his political career.  

In my opinion that is some impressive analysis… I’ll undoubtedly frequent the site often.
